For grades 1-6, after grading the test your child's teacher will discuss whether or not they tested at their intended grade level. Sometimes they will give you a list of things to work on before school starts. Sometimes they will suggest tutoring. Sometimes, the recommendation will be to repeat a grade.
For kindergarteners, Miss Nakagawa uses her quiz to determine where your child is at. She may suggest what your child should work on before the first day. She may ask them to come in over the summer. Infrequently, she'd suggest that your child be enrolled in K4. Our teachers can start testing as early as May 22nd.
