My wife and I first taught at Ma'ili Bible School over thirty years ago. I taught fifth grade for three years and sixth grade for four years. The Lord then directed us to serve as missionaries for ten years in Fiji. The Lord directed us back to Ma'ili Bible Church and School ten years ago. I taught a combined fifth and sixth-grade class for one year and then became the pastor of Ma'ili Bible Church. Seven years ago, I also became the administrator of Ma'ili Bible School.
It has been a joy to serve the families of Ma'ili Bible School. It is exciting to see young people grow physically, academically, socially, and spiritually. The transformation in one single year alone is often amazing but seeing the growth of a young person into a mature, well-equipped citizen to represent Christ well in their community brings great satisfaction.
As we enter the fiftieth year of Ma'ili Bible School, we rejoice in the accomplishments of our alumni. We are encouraged to see alumni sending their children to be trained at MBS. We pray that the best years are still ahead as we train the future leaders for the Waianae Coast and beyond.
At Ma'ili Bible Church & School, we believe in the importance of personalized attention and support for our students. That's why we maintain small class sizes, allowing our teachers to get to know each student individually and provide tailored instruction.
We believe in the importance of ongoing professional development for our faculty and staff. We provide regular training and opportunities for growth, ensuring that our educators stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and best practices.
